L’Amministrazione Comunale di Grottaglie organizza il XXXII CONCORSO DI CERAMICA CONTEMPORANEA “MEDITERRANEO”. Il Concorso ha lo scopo di valorizzare l'arte mediata attraverso la ceramica e connotata da caratteri di innovazione e contemporaneità.

La partecipazione alla XXXII edizione del Concorso di Ceramica Contemporanea “MEDITERRANEO” è aperta ad artisti singoli o associati ed è gratuita. La mostra delle opere selezionate sarà allestita a Grottaglie dal 5 luglio al 12 ottobre 2025.

La scheda di adesione e relativi allegati dovranno essere inviati via e-mail o tramite il servizio gratuito wetransfer.com all'indirizzo mediterraneo@comune.grottaglie.ta.it entro il 5 maggio 2025.

Premi: 

• 1° Premio “Mediterraneo” di € 5.000,00 per la migliore opera del Concorso di Ceramica Contemporanea che diverrà di proprietà del Comune di Grottaglie e confluirà nella sezione contemporanea del Museo della Ceramica;
  
  
• 2° Premio “Mostra Personale” di € 2.000,00 per la seconda migliore opera del Concorso di Ceramica Contemporanea. Al premiato sarà fornito spazio espositivo gratuito e supporto organizzativo per una mostra personale da svolgersi durante l'edizione successiva e pubblicazione nel relativo catalogo.
  
  
• 3° Premio “Residenza d'artista” riservato agli Under 35, patrocinato e finanziato dalla Banca di Credito Cooperativo San Marzano di San Giuseppe. Al premiato sarà fornito un premio in denaro di € 1.000,00 assieme a vitto, alloggio, materiali e cotture, un tutor di riferimento, uno spazio operativo per un periodo di minimo 2 e massimo 3 settimane da svolgersi entro l'edizione successiva.

The Municipal Administration of Grottaglie is pleased to announce the XXXII COMPETITION OF CONTEMPORARY CERAMIC ART “MEDITERRANEO”. The aim of the competition is to enhance the art conveyed by ceramics and marked by innovation as well as contemporary connotation.

Participation to the XXXII Competition of Contemporary Ceramic Art “MEDITERRANEO” is open to individual artists or group of artists and it is free. All the works admitted in the 2nd stage will be displayed in the exhibition which will be held in Grottaglie, Puglia - Italy, from July 5 to October 12, 2025.

The full application must be sent by e-mail or through www.wetransfer.com to the address mediterraneo@comune.grottaglie.ta.it by May 5th, 2025.

Prizes:

•  1st "Mediterraneo Prize", value of 5.000,00 euro, for the best artwork of the Competition. The winning work will become property of the Comune di Grottaglie and it will be part of the contemporary collection of the Museo della Ceramica in Grottaglie;
  
  
• 2nd "Personal Exhibition Prize", value of 2.000,00 euro, for the second best artwork of the Competition. The winner will receive free use of an exhibition space in town and his/her personal exhibition will be included in the catalogue of the 2026 Ceramics exhibition;
  
  
• 3rd "Artist's Residence" reserved for Under 35, sponsored and financed by the San Marzano Cooperative Credit Bank of San Giuseppe. The winner will be provided with a Prize of 1,000.00 euro, together with food, accommodation, materials and cooking, a reference tutor, and an operational space for a period of minimum 2 and maximum 3 weeks to be held within to be carried out by 2026.
