Nel 2024 MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC compirà 10 anni. 
MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC è un movimento di persone che amano la ceramica e il pianeta con la stessa passione, che credono nell’artigianato e nella salvaguardia dell’ambiente attraverso le buone pratiche.

In questi 10 anni MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC ha ampliato la propria rete arrivando in posti nuovi nel mondo, dove molti MORECLAYERS si sono impegnati a diffonderne il messaggio attraverso iniziative individuali: un lavoro prezioso e capillare, dal valore inestimabile.

Il traguardo più importante è stato l’ideazione della mostra internazionale itinerante CHANGE IN YOUR HAND, con preziosi oggetti di ceramica fatti a mano prestati dagli artigiani che condividono la nostra filosofia. La mostra offre al pubblico l’opportunità di ammirare splendidi lavori, di conoscere più a fondo, grazie ai pannelli della sezione didattica, il problema dell’inquinamento da plastica, della sua produzione, dell’uso e dello smaltimento, e di avere preziosi suggerimenti su come ridurre la propria impronta plastica.

Dal 2024 CHANGE IN YOUR HAND diventerà una mostra BIENNALE.
“MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC - Change in your hand 6 - BIENNALE” verrà proposta a manifestazioni legate al consumo critico e sostenibile, manifestazioni di settore, musei e strutture culturali.
Il tour della mostra inizierà nel mese di marzo 2024 proseguendo fino alla fine di dicembre 2026.

“MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC - Change in your hand 6 - BIENNALE” è aperta a ceramisti di ogni nazionalità, senza limiti di età. Sono ammessi solo oggetti funzionali.
La chiusura delle adesioni è fissata alla data 31 gennaio 2024.

MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC will reach its 10th year in 2024. 
MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC is a movement of people who love ceramics and the planet with equal passion, believe in handmade objects and in our responsibility for the right choices towards a safeguarded environment.

In these 10 years MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC has expanded its network in many corners of the world, where many MORECLAYERS were engaged locally in individual initiatives at markets, studios, schools. 

The most important achievement has been the international traveling exhibition CHANGE IN YOUR HAND with the contribution of precious handmade ceramic pieces lent by potters who share our philosophy. The exhibition is the opportunity for the public to admire beautiful works and understand the issue of plastic pollution because part of it is made of instructive panels about plastic production, usage and disposal as well as tips and ideas on how to reduce our plastic footprint.

As of 2024 CHANGE IN YOUR HAND will be a BIENNIAL exhibition.
“MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC - Change in your hand 6 - BIENNIAL” will be presented at events linked with sustainable consumption, craft fairs, cultural events, museums.
The tour will start in March 2024 and will travel different locations until December 2026.

“MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC - Change in your hand 6 - BIENNIAL” is open to ceramicists and potters of all nationalities and ages in accordance with MORE CLAY LESS PLASTIC philosophy. Only functional ware is allowed.
The deadline for admission is the 31st of January 2024.
