FONDAZIONE IRIS CERAMICA GROUP, promuove la 1° edizione del Premio Internazionale d’Arte dedicato alla produzione ceramica. L'intento del premio è dare risalto e riconoscere il merito ad elaborazioni inedite, al fine di offrire una possibilità di affermazione alle nuove generazioni di creativi nelle discipline dell’arte e del design, promuovendo le loro idee, proposte e visioni. Il premio ha lo scopo di riconoscere il contributo costante che l’arte contemporanea e il design apportano alla ricerca, valorizzando le migliori voci della scena attuale e cogliendo orientamenti e possibili strade di sviluppo. Un’opportunità per i professionisti con un dichiarato interesse per la materia ceramica declinato nella sua dimensione creativa, allo scopo di sostenerli nel loro lavoro e nello sviluppo di progettualità.
La partecipazione al Concorso è gratuita e si svolge esclusivamente online.

Il premio internazionale Premio D’arte Fondazione Iris Ceramica Group in questa edizione premierà:

• uno/a studente/ssa iscritto ad un Istituto del circuito AFAM (Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica) under 25;
• un artista o un/a designer, italiano o straniero, over 25.
  

PREMI
Per la sezione under 25 La Giuria disporrà del seguente premio:

a)    Un premio di euro 2.000 allo studente/essa vincitore/trice.

b)    Un premio in fornitura materiali ceramici per il valore di 5.000 all’Istituzione di appartenenza del lo studente/ssa vincitore/trice.

c)    Diffusione online del/i progetti vincitore/selezionati su tutti i media del gruppo.

d)    Attestato/i di vittoria.

e)    I migliori 10 progetti/opere verranno selezionati dalla giuria ed esposti presso la Gallery Iris Ceramica Group Milano nell’ottobre 2022 insieme all’elaborato vincitore, presentato in anteprima nella sua forma fisica.

Per la sezione over 25 La Giuria disporrà del seguente premio:

a)    Un premio di euro 10.000 al vincitore. Il premio è da intendersi come produzione/acquisto: la cifra offerta al vincitore coprirà infatti i costi di produzione, ideazione e acquisto dell’elaborato che entrerà nella collezione del Museo Storico Iris Ceramica Group.

b)    Diffusione online del/i progetti vincitore/selezionati su tutti i media del gruppo.

c)    Attestato/i di vittoria.

d)    I migliori 10 bozzetti verranno selezionati dalla giuria ed esposti presso la Gallery Iris Ceramica Group Milano nell’ottobre 2022 insieme all’elaborato vincitore, presentato in anteprima nella sua forma fisica.

GIURIA
La Giuria, il cui giudizio è inappellabile e insindacabile, è nominata dagli enti e dalle istituzioni promotrici del concorso e composta da cinque membri:

1.     Antonia Iannone (gallerista)

2.     Pietro Cantore (gallerista)

3.     Tommaso Corvi Mora (gallerista e ceramista)

4.     Judith S. Schwartz (professore emerito alla New York University)

5.     Giovanna Cassese (Presidente ISIA Faenza; coordinatrice tavolo tecnico AFAM presso MIUR)

6.     Federica Minozzi – Ceo Iris Ceramica Group

Sarà possibile iscriversi e caricare online i propri elaborati fino al giorno 30 settembre 2022, compilando la registrazione online all’indirizzo  https://prize.irisceramicagroup.com con  i  dati  di  accredito  e dotandosi di un codice alfanumerico di riconoscimento per l'upload dei materiali richiesti.

IRIS CERAMICA GROUP FOUNDATION has launched the first International Art Award dedicated to ceramic production. The purpose of the award is to highlight and recognize the merit of original creations, offering new generations of creative people in the fields of art and design an opportunity to promote their ideas, visions and designs. The award aims to recognize the constant contribution that contemporary art and design make to research, promoting the best voices on the current scene, identifying new directions and potential development paths. An opportunity for professionals with a declared interest in creative ceramics, to support them in their work and in the development of their projects.
The contest is completely free to enter and registration is exclusively online.

This year, the international award Art Award Iris Ceramica Group Foundation will reward:

• one student under the age of 25, enrolled on a course run by an AFAM (Alta Formazione Artistica, Musicale e Coreutica) circuit establishment;
• one artist or designer, Italian or foreign, over 25.

PRIZES
For the under-25s section, the Judging Panel will award the following prize:

a)    A prize of EUR 2,000 for the winning student.

b)    A prize of ceramic materials to the value of EUR 5,000 for the establishment at which the winning student is enrolled.

c)    Online sharing of the winning project(s) selected on all the Group’s media.

d)    Victory certificate(s).

e)    The best 10 projects / works will be selected by the Judging Panel and exhibited at the Iris Ceramica Group Gallery in Milan in October 2022, together with the winning creation, presented in its physical form for the first time.

For the over-25s section, the Judging Panel will award the following prize:

a)    A prize of EUR 10,000 for the winner. The prize is intended to be a production/purchase award: the amount paid to the winner will in fact cover the costs of designing, producing and purchasing the work that will be placed in the Iris Ceramica Group Historical Museum collection.

b)    Online sharing of the winning project(s) selected on all the Group’s media.

c)    Victory certificate(s).

d)    The best 10 sketches will be selected by the Judging Panel and exhibited at the Iris Ceramica Group Gallery in Milan in October 2022, together with the winning creation, presented in its physical form for the first time.

JUDGING PANEL
The Judging Panel, whose decision will be final and unappealable, will be appointed by the organizations and institutions promoting the contest, and consist of five members:

1.     Antonia Iannone (gallery owner)

2.     Pietro Cantore (gallery owner)

3.     Tommaso Corvi Mora (gallery owner and ceramicist)

4.     Judith S. Schwartz (emeritus professor at New York University)

5.     Giovanna Cassese (President of ISIA Faenza; coordinator of the AFAM technical committee at the Ministry of Education)

6.     Federica Minozzi – CEO, Iris Ceramica Group

You must register and upload your materials by September 30, 2022, by completing the online registration form at https://prize.irisceramicagroup.com with the accreditation details and obtaining an alphanumeric identification code to upload the materials required.
