La cucina e la ceramica sono discipline che condividono una serie di analogie, dagli strumenti ai processi di modellazione.

AiCC sviluppa questo argomento con un proprio specifico progetto: "Fame Concreta". 
Per questo siamo lieti di segnalare e promuovere questo workshop realizzato dagli amici della APTCVC (Associazione Portoghese delle Città e Villaggi della Ceramica) a Caldas da Rainha (Portogallo). 

Questo workshop ti permetterà di lavorare con la ceramica e il cibo in modo simile, creando oggetti che completano questi due materiali. Al termine di questa esperienza, si avrà  l'opportunità di condividere e “assaggiare” le creazioni.

La Scuola di Arti e Design di Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR) è strategicamente situata in una regione caratterizzata dalla presenza di argilla, studi di ceramisti e produzione industriale in serie della ceramica. Questa natura definisce oggi in particolare il ruolo della città e della scuola, come incubatore di idee e creazione nelle discipline del design e della lavorazione della ceramica.

PROGRAMMA DEL WORKSHOP: 

• Mentori: Paulo Santos e Rita Frutuoso.
• Ai partecipanti è richiesta esperienza con le tecniche di formatura dell'argilla come la costruzione a mano e la modellazione.
• Tecniche: porcellana, grès, terracotta, maiolica, barbottine, vernici sottosmalto, smalti.
• 19 - 21 luglio: workshop.
• 22 luglio: visita a Lisbona: Palace Fronteira e National Tile Museum.
• 23 luglio: workshop.

Cooking and ceramics are disciplines that share a series of analogies, from tools to shaping processes.

AiCC develops this topic with its own specific project: "Fame Concreta".
For this reason we are pleased to announce and promote this workshop realized by the friends of APTCVC (Portuguese Association of Ceramic Cities and Towns) in Caldas da Rainha (Portugal).

This workshop will allow you to work with ceramics and food in a similar way, creating objects that complement these two materials. At the end of this experience, we will have the opportunity to share and “taste” our creations.

The School of Arts and Design of Caldas da Rainha (ESAD.CR) is strategically located in a region characterized by the presence of clay, ceramist studios and industrial mass production of Ceramics. This nature defines today the role of the city and the school in particular, as an incubator for ideas and creation in disciplines of design and ceramic work.

WORKSHOP PROGRAM:

• Mentors: Paulo Santos e Rita Frutuoso.
  
• Participants should have experience with clay forming techniques such as hand building and modeling.
• Techniques: porcelain, stoneware, terracotta, earthenware, slips, underglaze paints, glazes.
• 19 – 21 July: workshop.
• 22 July: Visit to Lisbon: Palace Fronteira and National Tile Museum.
• 23 July: workshop.
