La fiera mercato torna dal vivo in una nuova sede: la scuola primaria “Riudemeia”, con estensione in plaça de l’Església (Piazza della Chiesa).

La tradizionale fiera della ceramica si sta reinventando per affrontare il suo ritorno dopo la pausa dello scorso anno, in cui era stata realizzata solo la versione digitale. La principale novità è che gli espositori saranno dislocati nel cortile della scuola Bernat de Riudemeia, nel centro del paese, con un ampliamento in plaça de l'Esglesia, dove saranno collocati i laboratori e le attività didattiche, e anche le mostre e il Museo della Ceramica.

Il motivo principale del cambio di sede è quello di controllarne la capienza, che sarà di 450 visitatori, al fine di offrire la massima sicurezza al pubblico contro il Covid. In questo senso, sarà abilitato un unico punto di accesso al campus scolastico, attraverso la via Jacint Verdaguer, mentre l'uscita avverrà attraverso la via Dr. Samsó, da dove il pubblico potrà recarsi in Plaza de la Iglesia (Piazza della Chiesa).

Il mercato inizierà venerdì 2 luglio alle ore 17.00 e durerà fino alle 22.00.
Sabato e domenica il mercato si terrà dalle 10,00 alle 22.00, con una sosta per mangiare e riposare dalle 14.00 alle 17.00.

Per la fiera di quest'anno sono stati selezionati 57 ceramisti, per lo più della Catalogna e del resto della Spagna, ma saranno presenti anche rappresentanti di Francia, Portogallo, Marocco, Italia, Polonia, Russia, Inghilterra e Lussemburgo, una rappresentanza simile a quella degli anni precedenti alla pandemia.

Parallelamente alla fiera ci saranno due importanti mostre: al museo ci sarà una mostra di ceramiche di Alberto Bustos, uno degli autori spagnoli attualmente con la maggiore proiezione internazionale.
L'altra mostra si terrà presso la Casa Gòtica, e sarà curata da Marc Iturri, uno dei ceramisti più in vista della scena catalana attuale e che ha forti legami con Argentona, essendo uno dei maestri della scuola ceramica locale.

Nell'area delle attività didattiche della Piazza della Chiesa il pubblico troverà dimostrazioni di ceramiche tradizionali, mentre i bambini potranno partecipare ai laboratori di tornio e realizzare i propri pezzi. Gli adulti possono partecipare al laboratorio di raku il sabato sera. Sabato e domenica alle ore 16.00, all'interno della rassegna "Cineràmica 2021", verranno presentati alcuni film sulla ceramica. La fiera si chiuderà, come di consueto, domenica sera con la “trepitaja de fang” (impronta di fango). Altre attività da svolgere sono le visite guidate al museo e gli spettacoli musicali a cura dell'associazione Musicargentona.

The market fair returns turns to live format in a new location: the primary school “Riudemeia”, with an extension to the plaça de l’Església (church square).

The traditional ceramic fair is reinventing itself to face its return after the pause of last year, in which only the digital version was made. The main novelty is that the exhibitors will be located in the courtyard of the Bernat de Riudemeia school, in the center of the town, with an extension to the plaça de l'Esglesia, where they will be placed the workshops and educational activities, and also the exhibitions and the Ceramics Museum.

The main reason for the change of location is to control the capacity of the venue, which will be of 450 visitors, in order to offer maximum security to the public against Covid. In this sense, a single access point will be enabled to the school campus, through Jacint Verdaguer street, while the exit will be done through Dr. Samsó street, from where the public can go to the Plaza de la Iglesia (Church Square).

The market will begin on Friday, July 2 at 5 pm and will last until 10 at night. Saturday and Sunday the market will run from 10 am to 10 pm, with a stop to eat and rest from 2 to 5.

For this year's fair, 57 ceramists have been selected, mostly from Catalonia and the rest of Spain, but there will also be representatives from France, Portugal, Morocco, Italy, Poland, Russia, England and Luxembourg, a representation similar to the years prior to the pandemic.

In parallel to the fair there will be two important exhibitions: at the museum will be a show of ceramics of Alberto Bustos, one of the Spanish authors currently with the greatest international projection.
The other exhibition will be held at the Casa Gòtica, and will be in charge of Marc Iturri, one of the most outstanding potters on the current Catalan scene and who has strong ties with Argentona, since he is one of the teachers of the local ceramic school.

In the educational activities area of ​​the Church Square the public will find demonstrations of traditional pottery, while the children could participate in the wheel workshops and make their own pieces. Adults can participate in the raku workshop on Saturday night. On Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm, several films about ceramics will be presented within the exhibition "Cineràmica 2021". The fair will close, as usual, on Sunday night with the “trepitaja de fang” (mud footprint). Other activities to be carried out are guided visits to the museum and musical performances by the Musicargentona association.
